El Ciclo, High quality bike tours, Barcelona
El Ciclo doesn’t stop at high quality bikes and tours, Ramiro Sobral the owner also crafts unique and authentic art in the shop located in the gothic quarter of Barcelona.
Owner Ramiro Sobral is a true bicycle lover who after years of cycling around in different places and fixing old bikes as a hobby decided to open his own bicicletería in Barcelona.
Barcelona is a perfect city to discover by bike, and at El Ciclo which is a small scale and original bike rental can sort you out in no time. The bicycles are high quality bikes from the German brands Kalkhoff and Bergamont.
These bicycles are perfect for a day around Barcelona and will even get you to Park Güell or Camp Nou without any problem. They offer quality city bikes and extra comfort bicycles, also they have different bikes for kids of all ages, child seats, a tandem and a carrier cycle among others. Locks and helmets are included in the price.
Ramiro Sobral’s shop is the right place if you want to rent a bike and El Ciclo, also offers city bike tours and bamboo bike tours with a private guide.
The team of guides are locals who have been living in the Catalan capital for a longer period. They take you to the city’s highlights, but also show you the well-hidden places off the beaten track and those charming spots you might not have discovered by yourself. Of course, they’ll also share their personal favourites with you, so your stay in Barcelona will only get better.
All the guides speak English, also offer tours in other languages. And as a special tour El Ciclo offer street art tours on our bamboo bicycles.
The bamboo bike frames are 100% handmade in Argentina. Each bamboo bike is a real eye catcher: you won’t go unnoticed in the streets of Barcelona.
Since opening, El Ciclo has become a hugely popular place for cyclists and people passionate about bikes. They had visitors from all over the world that come and experience Barcelona with their help. If you like cycling, recycling and creativity, El Ciclo is a most stop on your Barcelona trip.
Furthermore, in his workplace (his second home) Ramiro transforms old bicycle parts into amazing lamps and other bike art pieces. Part of his collection is for sale in the shop.
