The Indian cuisine workshop at La Patente is organised by Indian chef, recipe developer and cookbook author Anjalina Chugani. She offers a cooking classes were the participants gets introduced to the colour and flavourful Indian kitchen.

This workshop was all hands on, the group of participants were divided in to smaller parties and each one with one or more dishes to prepare, all supervised by Anjalina at La Patente.

Anjalina Chugani is a great chef, teacher and recipe developer.

The recipes are hand picked favourites that Anjalina also prepares in her home, some of them can be found in her cookbook Soul Spices.

The Indian cuisine is one of the tastiest in the world and comes as a result of the diversity of cultures that has enriched it over time. In the Indian cuisine they use a great variety of spices, herbs, vegetables, pulses and basmati rice.

The group prepared beautiful dishes. Lemon rice, lamb curry, Kachumber salad with Raita dressing and for the dessert a mango and yogurt cream.

To immortalize this practical workshop in photos, to see how the ingredients transform in to a magnificent meal. How everybody is contributing to make it all come together, make my love for the culinary world grow.

Once all the different dishes were ready, the whole group sat down together to enjoy  a well cooked Indian meal. I could see all the happy, pleased and delighted faces, that what good food does to people!
