There are so many food trends that come out of the city of Angles, sure, the origin cuisine might be from elsewhere. But when the trends hit hard, especially health movements many come from Los Angeles.
So on my visit to Los Angeles I moved according to my restaurant and café map. I didn´t manage to visit them all, so they will be on the list for next time. I normally walk everywhere when I go on holiday, but fast I experienced in Los Angles that it was not the best of ideas, so during my stay I in LA I moved the whole time with Über.

Kreation Kafe – Mostly famous for it´s cold pressed juices, but here you can also enjoy breakfast all day long.

Gracias Madre – from the guys behind Café Gratitude we can enjoy vegan Mexican cuisine in West Hollywood.
Joan´s on third – perfect spot for a breakfast burrito.
Urth caffé – A popular café that serves up organic coffee at various locations around town.
Sockerbit – Swedish candy store, heaven on earth with liquorice, sour, sweet candies.
Petit Trois – Casual bistro serving up beef tartar, omelettes and other French classics.
Croft Alley – Tucked in alley behind Melrose Place, Croft Alley served breakfast, lunch and charcuterie in a rustic setting.
Sqirl – Café and bakery serving up breakfast and lunch in East Hollywood.
Mardi – Inside the Palihouse hotel you can find this family-style restaurant with whole roasted chicken and slow roasted pork on the menu.
Ostrich farm – In Echo park this casual American restaurant serves up wood-grilled and locally sourced food.
Broome Street General Store – The interior design store also prepares great coffee to be enjoyed on their outdoor patio.
Intelligentsia –Iconic coffee shop in the trendy neighbourhood Silver Lake, you can watch the modern Cali people while you sip on your coffee.
Little Dom´s –Local Italian-American restaurant in Los Felices.
Grand Central Market – Down town Los Angeles you can find this big space filled with different food stops, something for everyone.

Verve Downtown – Cosy coffee shop with vertical garden in the open entrance. They have various locations around town.

The Line – On my stay in Los Angeles I stayed at this cool designer hotel on Wilshire boulevard, with the trendy Korea Town just around the corner.

Palihouse – Can be found on two locations West Hollywood and Santa Monica, cool vintage interior. At the West Hollywood you can find restaurant Mardi.
Petit Ermitage – On the rooftop of you can enjoy a 360 degree of the Hollywood hills as you swim in the heated saltwater pool.
The Standard downtown LA – On the rooftop you can find a beer garden serving German food and beer. If you up for Ping-Pong the have the full-service SPiN club.
