Tandoor is an Indian restaurant that opened its doors a bit more then a year ago, it´s run by Ivan Surinder and his family in homage to his father Surinder Oberoi.
The location of the restaurant is of the beaten track in Eixample, close to Plaza España and the train station Sants Estació.

The restaurant is different from any other Indian restaurant I ever visited in Barcelona or abroad when it comes to the interior design.
It has a young and fresh look, made with raw materials as concrete floor, light wood, brick and white painted walls.

At restaurant Tandoor you can enjoy the classic dishes Chicken Korma (Chicken with curry made of coconut milk, cashew nuts, turmic and cream, Gosht Madras (lamb with curry made of madaras masala and fennel seeds) or a vegetarian Dal Makhni ( a mix oflentils and black beans from India).

Don’t forget to order the typical Indian Nan bread to be able to scoop up all the delicious sauce! On the menu you can chose from three ones; the classic Nan, or with garlic or Nan with cheese.
As for the beverage to the meal you can try the Indian beer Cobra or for a non-alcoholic option a Mango Lassi ( yoghurt and mango drink).
